We discuss all the match-up scenarios: if the Lakers are still the favourites in the West to make the NBA Finals if they’re a Play-In participant; how scary can Steph Curry be next week; if everyone in the East is afraid of the Heat; we argue whether the Phoenix Suns are legitimate title contenders; and I add a Director’s Cut commentary during the end of the podcast (there’s reasons); + more.

The Ave Podcast with Cal Cee. Episode 152: 2021 State of The Raptors Address

Today on The Ave Podcast, we the 2021 State of the Raptors Address, an annual podcast episode that we do which breaks down the Raptors journey during this historically awkward NBA season. I invite SSA Family Members Julian aka Jules Da Commish & Randall Walter (HC of Excel Hoop’s Prep Basketball Program) as we discuss the first half of the NBA Season; we pour out a lil’ liquor for Norman Powell; if Pascal Siakam has reached his ceiling; what will happen with Masai Ujiri this offseason; and our expectations for the Raptors post-Lowry. Plus we discuss the Free Agency options for this summer; if Toronto should entertain bringing back DeMar DeRozan (I’ll let you decide which type of emotion you want to deploy while clutching your chest); whether or not they should rent an apartment in #TankCity; plus all things Raptors. Even if they’re thousands of miles away, they’re still the home team. So please enjoy…..
